On April 13, 2016, the 8th Third Members' Meeting of Shanghai Water Supply Industry Association was successfully held in Shanghai Hall on the third floor of Shanghai Xingrong Wyndham Hotel. Jingda Company was invited to attend the meeting.
Chen Yuanming, Deputy Director of Shanghai Water Authority, Meng Mingqun, Director of Shanghai Water Supply Management Office, Le Linsheng, President of Shanghai Water Supply Industry Association and other leaders attended the meeting and spoke.
In 2015, the association took the comprehensive implementation of the spirit of the Fifth Plenary Session of the 18th CPC Central Committee as the leading factor, adhered to the general tone of steady progress, adapted to the new normal of industry development, and focused on the Municipal Water Authority, Chengtou Water Group and the key points of water supply in districts and counties, went deep into the grassroots, optimized services, was honest and self-disciplined, promoted development, and completed the tasks for the whole year well.
The meeting reported the "2015 Work Summary and 2016 Work Arrangements of Shanghai Water Supply Industry Association". Director Chen expressed his support and gratitude for the work of the association.
Last year's cold snap was a severe test for the city's water supply system. Of the city's 8.5 million water meters, 180,000 were damaged by freezing. The water supply system must be 99.99% safe and reliable. If it is 98%, it may cause losses to the country and the people.
Jingda water meters withstood the test of the cold snap, and the water meters supplied to Veolia Water Company in Pudong, Shanghai were not damaged by freezing.
